Madeleine Kneubuehl

Hello there! My name is Madeleine Kneubuehl and I am an illustrator & designer from Madison, Wisconsin! Using traditional and digital painting techniques, I illustrate, cut, and embellish my pieces to depict my worlds and delve into their stories. My work is inspired by vintage posters and Wisconsin’s rich history of the circus. Growing up, my family used to take me to see the circus at the state fair and I became enamored with both its strange wonder and bold aesthetics. Since then, I have been on a journey to share that same wonder with others through my art. Bright colors, rich typography, and detailed costuming are the framework for my art that invites the viewer to escape into a new reality full of child-like wonder.
