I’m a Birmingham, AL-based illustrator/artist. I have always loved creating characters and colorful worlds from my imagination. My greatest inspirations are my husband Matt, my son Bo, and Jesus. I have worked for a multitude of clients and businesses over the last 13 years, eventually winning an Emmy award for my illustration work on the animation short “The Legend of Dogo Onsen”. I took extended maternity leave following the birth of my son, so I was incredibly excited to get back to making art over the last couple of years. Since becoming a mother, my career has taken a huge transformation from client work to selling my personal creations. I am now not only illustrating, but I also create polymer clay products such as pins or earrings, as well as hand-printed bags and other wearable things. Being able to merge all of my creative interests with illustrating by creating and selling products has been extremely special as I see people wearing/using my art to express themselves. I can’t put into words what a dream come true it has been to be a mom and also an artist, and to see so many other people relating to the things I create!
